Future Engineering Professionals Day

On Saturday, September, 26th, ERC hosted one of the research workshops for UNLV’s Future Engineering Professionals Day! Prospective students were able to spend the day attending special presentations from faculty of the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering at UNLV.

ERC presented its STEM Origami Paper Folding project. We had students and parents build our mini paper model of the High Roller. We also gave them the experience of participating in a survey and discuss how we conduct our research and learning methods.

It was a great morning! Our members Diogo, Armon, and Gabriel engaged with the participants and received great feedback on their project. We also played our first ever ERC Movie! Students were sad that they could not take their paper models home, but have no fear! Paper models will be available to take home soon!
