The Digital Experience (DEX) Lab is a dynamic collaboration of interdisciplinary research fields including media, arts, design, and engineering. The DEX Lab was founded in 2014 by Dr. Si Jung Kim to conduct world class interdisciplinary research in digital experience. The lab works to enhance the quality of our lives and the lab investigates how humans interact with digital media effectively and efficiently and how digital media can improve our condition.
The DEX Lab has formed active partnerships across the world in order to conduct both basic and applied research projects that are associated with the design, development, and evaluation of human-centered technologies. The partnerships includes Applications Research Center at Motorola Mobility Inc., Media Convergence Lab at Institute for Simulation and Training (UCF), User Experience Research and Design (National Cheng Kung University), Assessment and Cognitive Ergonomics Laboratory (Virginia Tech), Laboratory for User-Centric Innovations in Design (Virginia Tech), Intelligent Control and Robotics Lab (Sungkyunkwan University), College of Textiles (NC State University), HCI Lab (University of Wisconsin-Madisoand) and more. We welcome external collaborations. For further information, please contact:
